Reed Switches/Magnets

Hasco Component's Reed Switches are meant for long life. Each Reed Switch has an extremely long life. More important is the fact that each reed switch can sit idle for years without contact resistance build up. Ideal applications for reeds include liquid level sensors, magnetic contacts, proximity reed devices and reed relays.

Life expectancy and reliability
Test modes:

24V-400mA-1x105 operations min. at operation frequency of 50 Hz with failure rate 3,3x10 -7 oper -1. min.

These data are valid for a coil energized at 1.5 times stated max. operate value.

Reed switches are immune to mechanical shocks with peak shock acceleration of 150 g and impulse duration of 1
ms.

Vibration
Reed switches are immune to sinusoidal vibration at 1-2000 Hz and acceleration amplitude of 20 g.
